I teach a rural elementary school in Nevada and live with my 10 year old son, my mom (who has congestive heart failure), and 2 stepdaughters who are my son's halfsisters but who do not technically belong to me. And we have a cat. We have a busy family life between home, school, doctor appointments, and trips to the library. I am gay, but at this point in my life it pretty much doesn't matter as i don't date or socialize much. I am working toward my master's degree in education.
